Our Digital Media program offers courses for artists of all ages. Classes are held on floor 2A in the Mac Lab, which features 12 incredible PowerMacs loaded with all the best multimedia software, including Adobe Creative Suite for digital imaging and Web design and Final Cut Studio Pro for video editing.

Introduction to Computers
Get comfortable and competent with the world of computers. Learn the basics of computer operation including hardware, software, file management, printing and Internet safety. Note: This course is not part of the Foundations in Computer Literacy ICDL certification program.

Foundations in Computer Literacy (International Computer Driving License certification)

This self-paced computer literacy program gives learners an internationally recognized certification in computer proficiency! Complete this and head out into the workforce as a certified computer user. The ICDL certification program focuses on a candidate’s knowledge of basic computer skills in seven key areas that are necessary for success in today's digital world: Basic Concepts of IT, File Management, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database, Presentations, Communication and Information.
Ages 15 and older.
On-going registration, self-paced instruction (you can learn from home!) with orientation and testing meetings scheduled each month.

PhotoShop I
So you received a digital camera for Christmas and need help fancying up your photos? Or, you're building a Web site and need some help creating custom graphics? This workshop will give you an introduction to creating and manipulating digital photos and graphics for print and the Web.
